We can discuss the options, but which type of cremation you choose and your reasons for choosing private or communal cremation is your decision.

Fees for Cremation Services

Communal Cremation with No Euthanasia

With communal cremation, your pet will be cremated alongside other pets, and the ashes will not be returned. This option provides a less costly but equally respectful way to say goodbye. The ashes will be scattered at sea, offering a serene resting place for your pet. Please note that these prices do not include the cost of transportation. For an additional fee, we can also provide a custom clay paw print as a keepsake.

Private Cremation with No Euthanasia

In a private cremation, your pet is cremated individually, ensuring that the ashes returned to you belong solely to your beloved companion. Each pet has their own separate cremation chamber with quality control procedures to make sure you are receiving only your pet’s ashes. As part of this service, we also include a keepsake clay paw print to preserve a tangible memory of your pet. The transportation cost is not included in the cremation price listing.

Willed Body Donation For Aftercare

If you are interested, please inquire about W.A.V.E.—“Willed deceased Animals for Veterinary Education”—at Western University of Health Sciences Veterinary School in Pomona, CA. This program, similar to human body donation programs at medical schools, allows your pet to contribute to veterinary education and training.

After the study concludes (approximately two years), your pet’s remains will be cremated according to your wishes. For pets under 60 pounds, owners have the option to have their ashes returned at no cost. Additionally, owners may choose to receive a memorial fur clipping and/or ink paw print. Please note that clay paw prints are not available for donated pets.

If interested, please contact us to confirm if your pet meets eligibility requirements and to complete the necessary paperwork. To learn more about the W.A.V.E program, visit the Western University of Health Sciences website.
